AT2.B - GROUP WORKING
LAYER 1 (LANDSCAPE STRUCTURE): Oliver Elliott
LAYER 2 (MATERIALITY):Upton Bethke
LAYER 3 (SHADOW AND RELIEF): Mingze Li
LAYER 4 (HYDROLOGICAL FEATURES): Isabella Hatem
LAYER 5(DIAGRAMMATIC): Philip Zhang
Iteration 1
For our first iteration, our group layered our initial iterations for each of the layers. In this map, due to our groups lack of communication, the layers lacked correlation and there were too many clashing colours, making it hard to interpret the map.
Iteration 2
In the second iteration, the colours are slightly subdued however, layers of the map did not match up to Layer 1 making it hard to read. Additionally, similarly to iteration 1 we realised that this map excludes two points from our members 2km x 2km areas.
Iteration 3
For this iteration the final versions of each layer were used and our group experimented with the hierarchy of the layers. The opacity of the colour layers were edited, but this caused the map to look too light.
Iteration 4
Iteration 4 uses another version of layer 2, however the reference map used  for layer two misses two points from our members 2km x 2km areas (similarly to Iteration 1 + 2), therefore the map was an inaccurate representation of our total area. The opacity of the coloured layers were adjusted and improved the colouring of the map.
Iteration 5
Iteration 5 represents the entirety of our groups areas, the colouring and opacity was further experimented with allowing the map to be easily understood and coherent in presenting information– our group decided that this was our best iteration and would therefore be our final map.
